A screenshot is not enough information to answer your questions. A quick google resulted in nothing so I suppose it is closed source. There's this with some info in it.I would recommend ncurses for tty interfaces. It's dead easy to use in C if you just want to try it out.
Bindings are available for most languages so use whatever you're most comfortable with. If you're done no tty programming before, it'd be worth just starting with some basic standard in/out first like getchar and printf in C before you stand digging into more complex I/O and layout.

The best way to find a deal at Lowes!!Markdown Report – This is the holy grail of finding deals at Lowes. Once a week (usually on Thursdays) the markdown report will go “live”.
Most of the items start off discounted 25% off, but I’ve bought nice items (like a Dewalt power tool set for $56, cases of Gatorade for $.80) at 75% or even 90% off. Here’s how to get it. Ask one of the persons at the commercial sales desk to print you off a copy (you might need to buddy/buddy them before hand).
They might not even know what the report is or how to print it. Tell him to go to the main Genesis screen and do a 5.11.12. This should put them on the markdown screen. They then need to click on Level 4, level 5, active markdown – then select “all”. It will take a few minutes but the report will be in the print spool for the associate to print off.
The report will come off per department and will show the last “regular” price and the new markdown price. Disregard any product that has only a quantity of 1 or 2 – those could have been store use, stolen or miscounted. I like to put the item number in Google (i.e. “ Lowes item 877833) to find the item because since Lowes is no longer stocking the item it will not be able to be found on the website directly (Lowes does have free WiFi). Many times the items are in top stock (since they’ve been discontinued they no longer have a spot on the shelf) so talk to someone in the department for help locating the items (they may take advantage of the sale).
First of all Lowes still uses a DOS base system called Genesis - It's straight out of the 1980's. That's why it seems complicated.
But on the Lowes Pro Sales 'CBM - Commercial Business Management' page, it specifically states that Pro Sales is to use the report to help their customers find deals. Hence, get friendly with the Pro Sales people. And, yes, the products that are on the original location shelf would have the new prices (they would have bright yellow pricing stickers with clearance on them) but ones at clearance locations usually have the old sale prices on them (but take an item you are interested in to an employee and they can tell you the correct price). Must be a store by store thing. At our store we had these deals time to time.1)Cull Lumber: Most stores cull out their lumber into 2 piles of white wood and pressure treated at 10 cents on the dollar. You have to take the whole pile but it worth it. I bought a pile of 4x4’s and cut them up for a raised garden.2)Open bags: On open bag goods (in lawn and garden and lumber departments), the department managers will negotiate on the price to get rid of them (I’ve paid only a $1 apiece for bags of play sand and concrete). But you must talk to the department manager or ASM (assistant Manager).3)Plants – distressed plants are a great deal.
The plants could have some frost damage (in the fall), already bloomed or suffering lack of care (annuals). Wednesday or Thursday are when the plants are set aside and markdown. Also, bulbs are marked down at the end of its planting season.
