Diablo Vs Diablo 2
I'm getting Diablo 2 soon, just as a filler till the 3rd one comes out, and I'm just wondering what is the best/most fun class to play single player with? Never played the game before, so I'm open for any ideas.

Spoiler tags are !X kills Y! My favorite (viable) fun build was a crossbow enchantress. Using a Demon Machine (unique 2nd tier cho-ko-nu) gave you exploding bolts and 66% chance to pierce, add a Razortail (sharkskin?) unique belt to stack that to 99% pierce.
The 'chant damage gets added to the explosions that trigger on each enemy hit/pierced by the bolt, so hitting a mob is like firing 6+ cookie-cutter-sorc fireballs at once.Chances are I got the build from Amazon Basin. As for non-viable builds, my favorite was my 'sprinter' barb, with max passive run speed, as many run/walk items I could find, and a runeworded bow for vigor aura. I could compete with all but the fastest teleporting sorcs. Before they fixed synergies for off-class skills I know someone pulled off a fireball Paladin.
